As a coalition of union soloists, our goal is to seek better visibility within our union, and to help and encourage the soloist membership of AGMA to understand and take part in their union in every way they can. We are collaborating with AGMA Board Members and staff on a new standard member orientation. We are finding and sharing information on more ways for soloists to join in the conversation and be heard, from town hall meetings, to negotiating committees, to running for the Board of Governors. We have been boosting the signal on our social media accounts, of resources available to support soloists. Our CBA working group is creating materials to help soloists understand and navigate the union contracts they work under. And we are forming a young artist mentorship program so that experienced professionals can help singers new to the business navigate this difficult time
