Young Artist Mentorship Guidelines

Hey Soloists! We’re launching a new program providing one-on-one mentorship to Young Artists. Each YA will be paired with a more experienced soloist to help them navigate the early stages of their career. At this point we’re looking for:

- Volunteer mentors:

  • you are at least two years past your final full-year YAP/masters/grad-level program, and/or consider yourself an established soloist artist

- Young Artist mentees:

  • you are looking for guidance at the early stages of your career, and you are currently in, or up to two years out of, a full-year YAP/masters/grad-level program (union membership not required)

Please email us at youngartistmentorship@gmail.com to indicate your interest! We will follow up with the application form, and get you signed up. We are accepting applications on a continuous basis!

We’re not currently looking for undergraduate level or younger, but YAP/masters/grad-level studies and up please. We hope that these partnerships can help young artists in our business to avoid making the mistakes some of us more established singers have made, and to improve transparency and togetherness in the world of operatic soloists. Spread the word, and let’s get started!
